On Monday, I had the honor and pleasure of speaking to one of Professor @therealcarltonwade's media writing classes at the @officialsouthernmiss.

Carlton is a legend in hip hop journalism so his students are blessed to have him. I was asked to speak about how my background as a journalist has impacted my current work as a publicist. I am happy to see that My Brother @asakiwi also spoke to his students.

Carlton also shared that I was the first editor of a national hip hop mag (Rap Sheet) to give him a writing assignment. This had to be in 1996. I always loved his work and working with him in general.

@drdanielwalker, acclaimed storyteller and proud SDSU alumnus, recently returned to his alma mater to honor the legacy of his former mentor, the late Emmy-winning dance pioneer Dr. Danny L. Scarborough.

Joined by fellow alumni, Walker led a heartfelt tribute reflecting on how Dr. Scarborough’s dedication, vision, and impact have shaped their lives—more than three decades after his passing.

Their memories are a powerful testament to a professor whose spirit, artistry, and lessons remain deeply felt in the SDSU community and beyond.

On Saturday, @billyjohnsonjr was honored to support @jenessecenter, a domestic violence prevention and intervention program, at its 3rd Youth Symposium at @loyolamarymount. Through its Jeneration J youth initiative, the event empowered students with tools for healthy relationships.

This year, Billy secured @poetkevinpowell as the keynote speaker and led social media strategy & execution for the event.

Billy has worked with @ap925344 & @cwalk777 (📸) on many Jenesse projects, including Jeneration J’s Raise Your Voice 4 Peace #RYV4P youth vocal competition.

Hyperrealistic replicas of human beings lay flat, packed in and chained together, on shelves made of wooden planks. ... Walking through the hold, several people started to cry." 💔

This journey is about more than history—it’s about humanity.
